Create your own edible tree using matcha tea
I would like to show you a preparation that I found AMAZING because, in addition to how delicious and nutritious it is, it is also a perfect dessert to celebrate Christmas 🤶.
I got the idea from the Nutritious Delights site and adapted it a little 😋.
To make the cookies you will need circle molds of different sizes, but if you don't have them you can help yourself with cups, lids or glasses that you have lying around 🥂.
Ingredients
- 30 g of matcha tea 🌿 .
- 75 ml of coconut oil 🥥.
- 250 ml of agave syrup .
- 600 gr of almond flour or another of your choice.
- half a tablespoon of baking powder.
- 1/4 tablespoon of salt 🧂.
- 75 gr of peanut or almond butter 🥜.
- 200 ml of vegetable cream of your choice.
- 100 g of strawberries or raspberries 🍓.
- 100 g of blueberries.
Preparation
1. In a medium bowl, combine the matcha tea, coconut oil, almond flour, agave syrup, baking powder, peanut butter and salt until you achieve a homogeneous dough. Then wrap the bowl in plastic and refrigerate for at least an hour.
2. Then preheat the oven to 160ºC and oil the metal tray.
3. Add all the dough to the tray and stretch it. With the molds or kitchen elements, mark circles of different sizes (this will make it easier to remove them later).
4. Bake between 10 and 15 minutes 📛.
5. After the time has passed, wait for it to cool and carefully remove the cookie circles.
6. Install the cookies from largest to smallest. Between each of them add a little vegetable cream, cut strawberries or raspberries, and blueberries to decorate.
You will see that our long-awaited little tree is forming little by little. We leave it in the refrigerator until it's time to debut it at dinner 🎄.
Your guests are going to be crazy! 🤩
