Many people remember that when they went to the countryside when they were little, they ate the maqui that they found in bushes on the southern roads and their mouths turned completely purple. What may not be so well known is its high antioxidant content, being even higher than blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, wine and acai.
It is organic and certified by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture), that is, the food has not been subjected to herbicides, pesticides, pesticides or fungicides. It has also not been genetically manipulated (non-GMO).
How to consume maqui
Maqui powder can be added to smoothies, desserts and pastries.
You can add it to a smoothie along with some vegetable milk, oats, nuts, seeds, among others. Ideal for breakfast.
The suggested serving is 1 teaspoon (2 g) to obtain its therapeutic benefits, but you can consume more without problem.

Are Brota products of animal or plant origin?
All Brota products are of 100% plant origin.
Do they have any international certification?
We have organic certification from the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) in eight products: maqui, cocoa powder, camu camu, spirulina powder, matcha tea, agave syrup, coconut oil and golden berries.
Do they have any contraindications?
The only superfoods that have a contraindication are guarana powder and Aloe Vera.
Due to its stimulating effect, guarana is not recommended for consumption by those under 18 years of age, pregnant women, and people with hypertension.
Aloe vera can have a laxative action, which is why its consumption is not recommended for pregnant women and children under 12 years of age.
